London Terrorist Attack

Map of London Transit System including bombing locations

LONDON, England (CNN) — At least 33 are dead and scores wounded after a series of four “callous” and coordinated bombings in London’s transport system, Scotland Yard said.

On days like today, even words fall short. “Barbaric” hardly sums up the intentions of those responsible for the attacks .

Wicked“, there’s one.

Foolish“, that’s an accurate one.

Abominable“, now there’s a word that you don’t hear very often. Probably because it carries a very heavy sense of severity.

To me though, the sum of those three words, still remains speachless when considering the final implications of the actions carried out against commuters today in London, one of the world’s primary hubs.

You don’t have to look very far to find details of the attack in the news. So, I’m not going to list a lot of links to that. The purpose of this post is to be something different.

Please post a comment below, especially if you’re a Londoner.

Take a minute to leave a few sentences. A short paragraph that captures your exact feelings about what has just happened. Try to choose a single word to express yourself, and leave it as a footprint to be joined by the others who will pass by.

The Brittish Flag

I hope that this post will become a landmark.

A landmark with many footprints around it that reminds of of this exact moment, and encourages us all to remember the unity of like-minded people that would rather seek peace first and stand up to protect the rights of those innocent and in need.

If you have pictures or video clips from your mobile that you feel are fossils of this event, I will consider posting them here. Please send via e-mail to clips@mediaflush.com.

However, let me make it clear that I am not interested posting media that is horrific. I will post images that speak without words…
