It’s that time of year people. Where the world of extreme sports takes another step towards the mainstream, and some of the big dogs come out and go really big in the X-Games.

Today the events leak off of ESPN for a while and there is 3 hours on ABC. The surfing finals are coming up now from what’s known as the Mexican Pipeline, Puerto Escondido Mexico. This wave can get really gnarly with stiff wave faces 25 + feet. But today it’s looking a bit smaller which should leave some room for hot dogging in the barrels.

Freestyle Moto-Cross Finals start tonite at 9pm, but with the UFC fights on Spike TV starting at the same time… there’s gonna be some channel flipping on commercial breaks.
