WMC, Remix Hotel, M3 Summit
Man… I was getting behind on news here.
In Miami, Florida the Winter Music Conference 2005 is well underway and going into full swing this weekend in Miami. Get ready as the ectascy flows like water and the top DJs and Artists in world will be packing the best clubs in South Beach and rocking it SOLID til Monday.
Unfortunately I’ll be missing it this year.
An interesting note are these two “newer” events that have come in and ponyed off the traditional WMC attendance crowd:
- The Remix Hotel - Free Event (Sponsors: Apple, Microsoft, Ableton)
- The M3 Summit (Sponsors: Wired, Motorola, Absolut)
Both of which I’ve heard are probably cooler than the WMC has become.
But then again, let’s not kid ourselves. Everyone hops on a jet and comes to Miami Beach for the parties. To stroll up and down the strip, hop in a cab hit a hotel pool party, lounge, network and sip some cocktails.
